• This vacation home features an oceanfront location on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC
• Panoramic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains from the front of the house, the deck and the hot tub and all the major rooms

• Eagles, Orcas, sea lions, pounding surf and dramatic sunsets
• Quiet and private, Oceanwood is located at the end of a long driveway through the surrounding forest

• 5 minute walk to Flea Beach (named for its small size)
• 10 minute walk through the rainforest to French Beach Provincial Park

• 20 minutes by car to the coastal village of Sooke
• 60 minutes by car to Victoria, the capital city of the province of British Columbia

Bedrooms & Baths

• Oceanwood has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably
• The huge master bedroom, which occupies the entire top floor, features a king-sized bed a sitting area, a satellite TV, DVD, VCR and wrap-around windows with a spectacular ocean view
• The distant sound of the pounding surf will lull you to sleep

• The master also has a generous en suite bathroom with a large shower

• On the garden level there are three more bedrooms and a large bathroom with a separate sink/vanity area and a full-sized tub/shower combination
• all bedrooms feature ocean views

• One of the bedrooms has a queen-sized bed, one has a double bed and one has bunk beds (A double bunk on the bottom and a single bunk on the top)
• All rooms are equipped with bedside reading lamps

• There is also a children's play area on this level with a sofa, a table and chairs and a TV with a collection of children's videos and games
• A third bathroom (powder room) is located on the main floor

Living Room

• The living room features a wall of windows that looks out to the spectacular ocean view
• It is furnished with a comfortable sofa, a large coffee table and two glider rocking chairs pulled up by the wood-burning fireplace

• With its wood floors, colourful area rugs and bright cushions, the room invites you to relax

• There is a satellite TV and a DVD player and a portable CD player
• Sliding doors open to the expansive deck with the barbeque and hot tub

Kitchen & Dining Area

• The kitchen is equipped with a full-sized fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and a full complement of small appliances and kitchenware
• Windows take advantage of both ocean and woodland views
• The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas, separated by a small breakfast counter/pass-through -- the cook is never far from the action!

• The dining area has a wooden table and chairs for 8

• A small sunroom off the dining area is the perfect spot for morning coffee while viewing the wildlife and marine traffic

** Two night minimum booking during Low and Shoulder Seasons, three night minimum during High Season
** Weekly (7 nights for the price of 6) and Monthly rates are available
** Major holidays that fall in low season and shoulder season will be charged at shoulder season and high season rates (respectively). The winter holiday season is Dec 18 through Jan 1.
** Special rates are available for seniors during the Low Season
** Under certain conditions, we may allow the number of registered guests to exceed the number of available beds, at a cost of $20.00 CAD per guest, per night. There is no additional charge for children under the age of 10.

• Cleaning fee: $175.00 CAD per stay. Please note that stays longer than 7 nights may require additional cleaning services at $175.00 per cleaning
