Geographic Location

• This vacation home has an oceanfront location with easy access to the beach, on southern Vancouver Island, BC

• Stunning views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains from spacious decks
• Located 7 kilometres west of the village of Sooke

• Close to all the village amenities and only 15 minutes from French Beach Provincial Park
• 45 minutes by car from Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia

Bedrooms & Baths

• There are two bedrooms on the main floor

• Both main floor bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, quality linens, reading lamps, closet space and view windows

• The bathroom on the main floor features a walk-in shower stall (there is no bathtub)

• The third bedroom on the garden level features a double bunk bed with a single bed on top
• The room also has a desk with high speed internet connection as well as a sitting area with TV, DVD player and VHS
• The third bedroom also opens to a covered deck, a safe area for children to play if it should happen to rain

• There is a small bathroom on the garden level with a shower
• The fourth bedroom and the third bathroom are in the cabin

Living Room

• Warm colours, leather furniture, a floral rug, artwork and collectibles create a room that is inviting and comfortable

• Light fills the room from the sliding doors to the outside deck
• A wood-burning fireplace adds charm and warmth on cool evenings

Kitchen & Dining Area

• A white country kitchen is fully equipped with a family-sized fridge, stove and dishwasher
• A harvest table looks out to the view

• Sliding doors open to the spacious wrap-around deck

Family Room

• Located on the garden level as part of the third bedroom
• Comfortable seating with a leather love seat and throw pillows

• Desk area with high speed internet connection
• TV, DVD player, VHS

• Sliding doors to a covered deck

The Cabin

• Please note that it not necessary to rent both the cabin and the main house
• To assure your privacy, the cabin is never rented out if you prefer just the main house

• The small self-contained cabin is separate from the main house
• The cabin has a double Murphy bed
• The bathroom has a bathtub as well as a shower head

• There is a small kitchen with a bar fridge, two burner stovetop and a sink
• A balcony overlooks the beach with views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains

** Two night minimum booking during Low and Shoulder Seasons, three night minimum during High Season
** Weekly (7 nights for the price of 6) and Monthly rates are available
** Major holidays that fall in low season and shoulder season will be charged at shoulder season and high season rates (respectively). The winter holiday season is Dec 18 through Jan 1.
** Special rates are available for seniors during the Low Season
** Under certain conditions, we may allow the number of registered guests to exceed the number of available beds, at a cost of $20.00 CAD per guest, per night. There is no additional charge for children under the age of 10.
** There is a reduced rate for the main house without the cabin

Other Conditions

• Cleaning fee: $175.00 CAD per stay for house and cabin ($150.00 CAD for the house alone). Please note that stays longer than 7 nights may require additional cleaning services

• No smoking
• A well-behaved small dog may be permitted under exceptional circumstances at $10.00 CAD per night
• Children are welcome (Please ensure that children are supervised at all times)
