Bedrooms & Baths

• The house has three bedrooms and two baths
• Much of the furniture is family antiques

• Two of the bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and one with a double brass bed, share the main bathroom
• This bathroom has a claw-foot tub (no shower) and a beautiful stained glass window panel

• The third bedroom is huge with a queen-sized Murphy bed, a double-bed pullout couch, a sitting area with small TV, a bar fridge, microwave, sink and eating area
• This bedroom also has its own bathroom (including a tub/shower) and French doors to an outside deck with reclining chairs and a picnic table

• The Artist's cottage has a double bed and a pullout couch
• It also has its own bathroom (with a tub/shower) as well as a fridge and an apartment-sized stove in the mini kitchen area
• The cottage is surrounded by a verandah and there is a hammock in the sea chest for hanging in the nearby trees

Living Room

• There is a cozy sitting area situated around a log-burning fireplace
• The room opens to an outside patio that looks down the deep garden and lawn to the ocean

• The spacious room includes the dining area making it perfect for family parties
• The furniture throughout the home is an eclectic blend of antiques and family treasures, put together with artistic flair and surrounded by outstanding First Nations art, most of it done by the Newman family

Kitchen

• The house features a large country kitchen with all the modern conveniences
• The kitchen is well-equipped with a full complement of small appliances and kitchenware
• There is a family-sized fridge and stove, lots of counter space, laundry facilities, and a pantry
• The kitchen includes a generous eating area with a round oak table and comfortable seating for 6

• There is also a deck off the kitchen and a wood burning stove

Dining Area

• The dining area is part of the spacious room that includes the cozy sitting area. This room facilitates large family gatherings comfortably
• A harvest table seats 10
• Wood floors (Douglas fir) and walls (tongue and groove knotty pine) add to the charm of the room
• This space opens to an outside patio that leads down the garden path to the ocean and the beach
• The main bathroom is easily accessible from this area as well
